Cosas Para Hacer en Colombia



To Do List:




Meet Shakira.  She will be mine.







Teach a Theatre Workshop in Barranquilla to children 
ranging from 5 to 12 years old.







    Dance the Waka Waka with the children in Barranquilla.






    Get lost once without a map.  Find myself.  
    Stay alive in the process. 




    Eat “hormigas culonas,” which literally translates to “big-ass ants,” 
    an actual food item in Colombia.  






    Drink Colombian coffee. 





    Go horseback riding.  Take allergy medicine first. 





    Buy a Colombian Flag.





    Parasail in Medellin.






    Embarrass myself at least 5 times. 






    Go for a run.






    Convince 1 person I am from Argentina.






    Make someone smile.






    Swim in the ocean. In Cartagena. 
    While guarding my stuff on the beach. 






    Go to a local market.  
    Eat something I've never seen or heard of before. 






    “En Barranquilla, se bailan asi.”  Do that.  In Barranquilla.  With Shakira?






    Interview 5 Colombians in Spanish about anything. 






    Visit La Laguna de Guatavita.







    Buy a "hamaca."  (Gracias, Victoria!)
